MUSCULOSKELETAL Practical assessment training course

Course Description:

This course is specific to the needs of Exercise Physiologists requiring registration in Australia who are either 

i) returning to practice after five years or more absence

ii) Internationally accredited exercise physiologists requiring registration with ESSA

This course is specific to the requirements of the musculoskeletal practical assessment  that comprise one of four case studies. 

Learning Outcomes :  

  • Understand the specific requirements of a one hour Musculoskeletal practical examination
  • Apply a systematic approach to address the practical exam using S.O.A.P. notes
  • Familarisation with key recommendations for best practice in a musculoskeletal practical examination

Target Audience: return to practice Exercise Physiologists

Internationally accredited exercise physiologists requiring registration with ESSA

Accreditation:  successful completion of this course will familiarise candidates with the procedural and knowledge  expectations for the musculoskeletal component of the practical exam. 

Pre-requisites:  recommended, but not mandatory completion of the International theoretical online examination

Duration : approximately 2 hours

Cost : $280 ex GST
